Choctaw County Career and Technology Center hosted the first Career Exploration for all sixth-grade students in Choctaw County. Mrs. Tonya Johnson (Career Coach) and Mrs. Marcy McGlothin (CTE School Counselor) organized the event. We want to thank our Principal's, Mrs. Kelly, Mr. Bellew, Mrs. Denson, and Mrs. Vowell for sending your students to participate. Thank you, Mr. Vance, Mr. Black, Mr. Johnson, and Mr. King, for set up for the event. Also, thank you to Mrs. Jerene Parker (School Counselor) and Mrs. Karen Miller (Teacher and School Counselor Intern) for volunteering today. Thank you to our student ambassadors for representing our programs at CCCTC. We want to say a special thank you to our representatives that attended: Choctaw County Regional Medical Center, Pafford EMS, Tobacco Free Coalition, Farm Bureau, US Forest Service, Choctaw County Sheriff's Department, Holmes Community College, MS Highway Patrol, TVA Southern Company, 4-County Electric Power Association, MSU Extension Office, MSU GEO Science Department, Bank of Kilmichael, Choctaw County Partnership, and Nabors.
