Ms. Daphne Keller McKibben, owner of Cottage Cookies, visited Mrs. Fondren's Second Year Culinary Arts students. Students have been learning all about baked goods and desserts throughout December including yeast breads, quick breads, cakes and icings, cookies, pies, and chocolate. Ms. Daphne taught students how to make royal icing and decorate sugar cookies using the flooding technique. Students enjoyed experimenting with a variety of cookies they themselves made.
