CCCTC students have been making Christmas Ornaments that represent their CTE classes. The students in the Construction/Carpentry class put up the center’s tree and made ornaments using precision cutting techniques with the band saw to cut out wooden Christmas trees. Culinary Arts students made “tacky Christmas sweater” salt dough ornaments, painted, and embellished them. Agricultural Power and Machinery students have been designing their individual ornaments using the GMAW welding process on various types of metal and fasteners. The students in Health Sciences class decorated syringes and wooden tongue depressors as their ornaments and AEST students cut out cattle tags and personalized them.
